QUARTERS SOAR IN ROCK REINISSANCE

Hailing from the city that never sleeps, Quarters (formerly Quarters of Change) have begun their ascent into defining the new age of New York City rock. After releasing two albums as a four-piece known as Quarters of Change, they reemerged as a trio, Quarters, and is challenging their old identity in new singles STAR / PLUMMET

A broader cultural shift has set the stage for rock’s revival — an era Quarters is at the forefront of. The band, now composed of Benjamin Orlen Roter, Jasper Gee Harris and Attila Lee Anather, formed in high school and has been releasing indie-rock hits since its inception.

In past releases, Quarters have sauntered the line between alternative and indie, but are daringly shedding the latter label to become the blow-out rock act they’ve always wanted.

“When we sat down to make this record, two years had passed, and the foundation of our band was being tested. We traveled the world, revisited old ideas, and thoughtfully repurposed them. What we ended up with was the bones of what came before, but the shine of something brand new.” says Harris.

As a double release, STAR / PLUMMET sets the scene for Quarters’ fourth studio album anticipated for March 2026.

The two singles offer a sonic dichotomy that illustrates the band’s versatility, with STAR playing to more melodic elements and PLUMMET housing a polished punchy roughness. Laced with hypnotic reverb and an entrancing chorus, STAR places an emphasis on Roter’s velvety vocals and mellow instrumentals. As a counterpart, PLUMMET immediately establishes itself with crushing drum fills and menacing guitar, simmering on the edge of tempestuousness.

The release is bound to cause raucous across the resurging rock landscape as it continues to establish Quarters as a force to be tempted. STAR / PLUMMET stands as a testament to the band’s developing NYC rock legacy.

“And we did it all alongside the history of Vienna, the lakes of South Carolina, and the push and pull of New York and LA.” Roter adds.

Quarters is set to embark on a UK / EU leg in December supporting The Band Camino preceding their world headline tour set to kick off in March. The band is on the brink of seismic break-out so catch them soon before it gets hard to.

“We’re putting everything on the line to be the band we’ve always wanted to be. For the first

time ever, there are no distractions. We have complete trust in ourselves."
